And the prize for the first fall of 2012 goes to…
04/01/2012 by shaun.
..Anya. Who fell off Ruby this morning whilst cantering without her stirrups in Mollies lesson. Wow, its only the 4th day of the year. Mind you I am only jealous because in the very next lesson Amy came off Sugar with me teaching her. Amy got the title of second person to fall. Later that day Anya threw herself off again - more of an epic dismount than a true fall. So anyway the title of first fall has been claimed for 2012.
So camp got off to a great start and then the weather threw everything at us. At one point I think there was a fellar with a big boat asking if he could borrow two horses, one of each sex. So what is going on with this weather. Hopefully we will get nicer riding conditions tomorrow.
Camp had three riding groups, and everyone got two riding sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. My group did mucking out for stable managements and then practiced grooming correctly. We even got a photo-opportunity..
