Back home in the freezing…
16/01/2012 by shaun.
..cold today after my too brief trip to Yorkshire. The journey back was fine with clearish roads and no major delays. This was helped by the fact that I set off at about 5am. We got home at about 10.30 this morning. After emptying the car and having a cup if tea it was back to mucking out with Katie. Mollie wasn’t feeling too well so stayed in bed until late afternoon. The hosepipe was frozen this morning as was the tap on the yard which is, amazingly, the first time that has happened this winter, which just goes to show how mild we have had it so far. Lets hope that the cold this morning was just fleeting.
Lessons tonight were busiery than last week, which was disturbed by the crash on the A977 at Drum, and I handed out another batch of starcharts. I am pretty sure that now everyone has one. Just waiting to collect them all in.
